In August 2008, he moved to the United States with the mission to evangelize the Karen people who have recently arrived in the country from Thailand. He received his education from three Adventist institutions in three countries namely: Eden Valley Academy High School on the Thai-Burma border, Spicer Memorial College in India where he took up Bachelor of Arts in Religious Philosophy, and Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS) in the Philippines where he obtained his Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry.
